Fanny & Michael

When we first met in Buea in 2016 through a mutual friend, neither of us imagined the story God was beginning to write.

Fanny
“ I still laugh about how passionately our friend introduced Michael that day. The way he spoke about him, I honestly wondered how someone could sound so important and yet I had never heard of him before. I remember thinking, I must really be living under a rock not to know this person. ”
What started as simple conversations slowly became a steady friendship. Over the years, we found ourselves sharing more and more of life together — conversations, prayers, encouragement, ministry, laughter, and many ordinary moments that quietly became meaningful.
A few months after meeting, we discovered that we were born on the exact same day, just a few years apart. Looking back now, that definitely feels like one of God's subtle winks.
For nearly nine years, friendship was the heart of our story. We genuinely enjoyed being around each other and never tried to force the future into something it was not yet.
Then came 2025.
Somewhere along the way — between teaching together, the conversations, the prayers, and all the "twinning" jokes — something changed.

Michael
“ I began to see Fanny differently. What had always felt safe and familiar suddenly felt deeply intentional. In her, I saw wisdom, gentleness, strength, and a kind of peace that drew me closer to God. What had grown quietly over the years became impossible to ignore. As we served and taught together, I slowly realized that God had been leading me to my "fountain" all along. ”
And now, here we are — grateful for a love built patiently over time, grounded in friendship, sustained by faith, and shaped by God's perfect timing.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Any additional gesture is entirely optional. For those who would still like to bless us with a cash gift, digital giving is available via the QR code or by clicking here.
